Transform this currently underutilized site into a source of tax revenue for the City. Bally’s Chicago would create an entertainment destination that connects the City’s robust McCormick Center convention hub and provide a unique opportunity to capture and grow its 3+ million convention attendees each year. A long-term lease agreement to be entered into with the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority (“MPEA”) if the City chooses this as the selected site.

Upon achieving our expected investment return threshold on Phase 1, Bally’s is committed to a $600 million Phase 2 expansion.

INITIAL TEMPORARY FACILITY

Located adjacent to the Chicago Tribune Publishing Center site.  By retrofitting an existing building, we will be able to expedite generating tax revenue to the City while the larger destination entertainment resort is being built.

AIRPORT CONCESSION GAMING

We intend to leverage the airport visitation by utilizing a portion of the available 4,000 gaming positions allocated to the Project and will work with the City to right-size the number of positions to be placed at O’Hare and Midway airports. We believe that, properly marketed, the airport visitation will capture incremental customers for Bally’s Chicago and generate additional tax revenue for the City.
